Kirkpatrick Level 1

Using the information in my IDD, I developed a Kirkpatrick Level 1 survey. The course learning outcomes (CLOs) from my IDD were incorporated to develop the survey questions that determine the success and alignment of the minicourse. The survey is created using one of the survey tools introduced in this week's lecture, namely Google Forms. I plan to use the information gathered from this survey to improve the learning experience for future learners. 

 

The survey includes an introduction at the top of the survey form to encourage learner engagement and participation. I have reintroduced the summary of the course learning outcomes in this introduction section as I plan to ask about learning outcome achievement in the survey questions. The questions are designed in a way that it should be able to gauge how a learner feels or reacts to the minicourse and the questions aim to gauge how favorable, engaging, and relevant the minicourse was.

 

This designed survey based on Kirkpatrick's Level 1 can help me understand the survey participants' initial reactions to the minicourse. These questions are designed to capture a wide range of responses, covering the survey participants' emotional responses, the course's relevance, the effectiveness of the delivery, and the perceived value of the experience as a takeaway from the course. By analyzing the answers further, I plan to refine and improve the minicourses for the future learners.
