DIGITAL AUDIO
The digital audio discusses the adult learning theory of Andragogy supporting active learning. This digital audio content aligns well with the learning objective of the online course and is training material for the online course.
Learning Objective, Module Goal & the Tools
Learning Objective – This is a continuation of the discussion exploring how active learning is supported by teaching frameworks from the digital document (infographic) developed in week 2. The digital audio discusses the adult learning theory of Andragogy supporting active learning. This content aligns well with the learning objective of the online course (describe the teaching framework associated with active learning for learners). This digital audio is a course material for the online course (Capstone Project) designed for college instructors interested in active learning techniques for their post-secondary classrooms in community college settings.
Alignment of Module Objective – The value that I hope it adds to the end-user learning experience is that it will help to make complex concepts clearer for them. I hope that it will make information easier to grasp and recall the content discussed. Some learners pick things up best through audio, so this caters to them. They are able to download it and refer to it as needed, even offline. A transcription file is added to make it more accessible.
Tools Used – I opted for web-based tools that do not need software downloads. For publishing the digital audio, I started a podcast on Anchor (by Spotify). I recorded the audio and added a piece of background music from the Anchor application. I published the podcast episode on Spotify.
