Using the information in my IDD, I developed a Kirkpatrick Level 2 assessment. The course learning outcomes (CLOs) from my IDD were incorporated to develop the assessment. The assessment is created using one of the assessment creation tools (Canvas LMS) introduced in this course. I plan to use the assessment results to continually improve the learning experience for future learners.

Course Learning Outcomes: The following CLOs are aligned with the assessment.
-
Discuss practical active learning strategies which could be used effectively in a diverse classroom.
-
Examine the challenges and benefits of active learning strategies to be able to use them effectively.

Module/Lesson Learning Objectives: The following module/lesson learning objectives are aligned with the assessment.
-
Find real-life examples of active learning strategies and practices which could be used effectively in a diverse classroom.
-
Examine the challenges and benefits of active learning strategies in a classroom.
Learning Materials: The learning material the learner will interact with as part of the module/lesson describes teaching frameworks that support active learning in the classrooms. After completing the reading and digital media content that discusses active learning strategies and techniques, the learner will be able to describe the teaching framework of active learning. The material is added in the Module 1 of the minicourse developed using the Canvas LMS.

Reflection: This assessment based on Kirkpatrick's Level 2 can help me understand the quiz participants' level of learning of the topics discussed in the minicourse. The quiz is designed using multiple question types, it includes feedback for correct and incorrect answers, and the quiz participants should also be able to see the result upon completion. The questions are designed in a way that it should be able to assess how well a learner has understood the topics discussed in the minicourse. By analyzing the quiz results further, I plan to refine and continually improve the learning experience for the future learners.

Instructions: The link to the assessment (quiz) as well as the link to the IDD are provided on top of this page. In order to log in to the minicourse to access the quiz, please use the following student username/email and the password. Once you log in, select the minicourse (EDU-1000) from the Dashboard. After you enter the course, please click on "quizzes" section from the left course navigation pane.
